If you like reading poetry, or like supporting local authors with actual talent, get "Pelt," by Daphne Gottlieb (final_girl). The description of killing the angel in the house ("death and the maiden and the information age") made me gasp. "gag reflex" made me have to put the book down for a while before I could pick it up again.

Some of it is just fun fluff, but a few pieces are you-gotta-read-this important. I recommend it.

I don't link to Amazon. *shudder* Would've linked to Powell's, but "Pelt" was out of stock there.

Oh, and I went to quote a poem to someotherguy, but he quoted the next line at me. He'd already read the book, and he's not a huge poetry lover. I think you may have another fan. You bowled over both my boys at the Slam.
