I was severely pigeon-toed when I was a child. They broke my bones and re-set them. Not too glamorous, but I did get pink casts!

*Ouch*! You poor little thing! That must have *hurt*. I was quite pigeon-toed as a littl'on', but not so bad that they had to break my legs. I'd hate to explain the necessity of *that* to a little kid.

:-) Thanks. By the time I had my surgery, I had progressed from leg braces to a wheelchair. I am glad I can walk, but I wish they'd done it when I was a baby (mom says they told her I'd grow out of it, and then the doc that did my surgery said she should've had it done when I was a baby. Gotta love the Navy Hospital.)
