There's this thing about our life. Live music, street fairs, stuff like that? We run into them accidentally. Just now, I returned from a coffee walk with someotherguy. There was live music at the coffee shop, which is no big deal, because they always have live music on the weekends, but on the way back, we happened upon Berkeley Critical Mass, having their 12th anniversary ride. So coooool! They offered us a ride on a towed sofa, but we were heading home. They rock hard, though, and I was so excited about my life after cheering them for a bit. (Many bikes said "Bicycles against the oil war" and such things; these are my people.)

I considered going. I want to do a Critical Mass sometime. I just need to fix up my bike. You're not far from the Long Haul - there was a party there tonight after the ride. I know some of those folks. If you want to go sometime to stuff, I'd love to go.

almost every time we're in new york city, we run into a travelling street fair. it's great. i miss living in a cool town that has those.

not to frighten you, but life with michele was like that--we were constantly running into things. i should show you the writeup of the washington d.c. trip we took if i have it in electronic form which i probably don't.
