Work is better. The headache project has been largely fixed so that it's not a headache. The boss is leaving me alone mostly. I may need to work more hours to get all the new projects done, and she says that's okay, but I'm already here every day she is (she doesn't want me here when she's not), and I stay until she leaves. More hours would mean coming in earlier, which is fine, and I need the money, but it still means getting up very early in the morning (like 5:15am), which I haven't had to do in a while. Oh, well. We'll see.

Yesterday was glorious. Only did what I wanted -- played on Usenet and in email and on LJ, cooked a nice lunch, made jelly. Excellent day. Never got dressed. Hung around in sexy panties and slippers most of the day, getting smooched and nibbled at random intervals. My life really is difficult, can't you tell?

I'm feeling fine. My knee woke me up and once loracs moved it to a more comfortable position, I found myself completely awake.

Yay! One commenter, who is on the food preserving newsgroup, is of the opinion that my method was not completely foodsafe, so I'm considering putting the unopened jars in the fridge. You may wanna do the same.

Thanks! When it turned out sogwife had to work that day, someotherguy and I decided to kick back. And then our girl was home from work with injured feet, so it worked out for us to be there to take care on her, as my mom would say. Missed y'all!

Sent an email to the volunteer coordinator to see when she's gonna need me this week, and when she responds, I'll get back to you.
