moved to Oakland
met intenselaura in person, finally
decided that a family member was not worth pursuing a relationship with
turned 38
saw the Golden Gate Bridge for the first time
changed jobs three times
had lots of health issues that frustrated me
exchanged rings with someotherguy and sogwife
totalled my car
realized that my partners and I had become wedded (not the same as married, to me)
took emergency contraception
stood by my family as my mother-out-law died and afterwards
started the Friday Thing
cooked my first turkey and served my first sit-down Thanksgiving dinner
bought my first pair of socks
owned my first coat as an adult
met lots of old net.friends now that I'm local to so many of them
made my first loaf of good bread (thanks, alanbostick)
made a lot of toffee
finally tasted klwalton's cooking

This year, I

bought plants that lived
started a new temp job
lost my COBRA coverage
started a new volunteer job
learned to make jelly

This week, I

faced something hard in my lovelife and started making it better
started my volunteer job
did some mending
walked through a swarm (a flock?) of butterflies

Yesterday, I

spent the day with stonebender
had yummy sex
ate fried chicken
watched The Incredibles and an episode of The West Wing
had a headache

Today, I

am the only one up so far
reset the clocks for daylight savings time
am naked
deserve some rest
