Snagged from several folk, the "What Bands Have You Seen Live" meme. Post your list in your LJ. Take the ones you've seen here and add others until you have 25 or so. My overlap with stonebender is in boldface. Asterisks indicate I've seen multiple times. I will probably not make it to 25. I haven't seen that many concerts.

I'm counting several people usually considered solo artists as "bands" because I think that's within the spirit of the thing. (Not all of them had backup bands.)

Bob Seeger and the Silver Bullet Band! I've never seen the group live, only loved them through vinyl, which I probably wore thin. Judy Collins is probably the only big star I've seen live.

Most of the other concerts I've been to were either lesbians, mostly from Olivia Records (which now does cruises) or lesbian friendly such as Sweet Honey in the Rock or Holly Near. Most of the concerts I've been to were probably more politically motivated than musically inspired.
