Have you already read The Downing Street Memo? Oh, man. I keep waiting for the world to look at this president and say "Enough!" but it doesn't seem to be in the cards. I could just tear my hair out.
yeah, read that when it hit the european news. it barely seems to have registered over here.
it amazes me that people called clinton the teflon president, and haven't found something similar for this one. nothing, but nothing sticks to this man, and his sins are ever so much more grave than those of peckerdilly willy.
I'm reading Don't Think of an Elephant right now, and I tend to agree with the author's assertion that most of political success or failure these days is about the language people use to frame their values/issues. If somehow it gets into the language that he's a liar and an egotistical killer, part of me thinks... but then, it seems people know this and still excuse him.
Ah, you don't understand... the core supporters think this is all a load of crap. It's just Bush bashing; it's not based on anything real. After all, does Bush *look* like he's been caught doing something wrong? Of course not!
It frightens me to think they could get away with this.
I suspect the nature of the problem is that, as we all know, the *entire Republican party* is completely corrupt, and if a Democratic senator walked in with a signed note from Satan saying "Yes, I own Georgie's soul" the R's would just say "Yeah? So? We outvote you, so you can't impeach!" Knowing this, the D's would rather not press the confrontation.
Me, I'd cheer if someone burned 'em all alive. *Including* the Senate.
I still like the icon; is it ever Justice's turn to be on top?
