sereneA bunch o' quick notes:
1) My sweeties love me. They do. And they show it. All of them. I'm very lucky.
2) Worked lots this week, a week when I was expecting to be off. Loved it. Very tired.
3) It is much easier to live life this way, feeling that I am enough for the people around me, even if I don't always have available everything I wish I could give them. It feels good to be loved for everything I am, and to be let off the hook for things I'm not.
4) Having a big-ideas day, and I think one of the big ideas may be doable. More later on that.
5) The munchkins are having a really hard time. I wish I could find a way to make their lives better that didn't mean ripping them from their home and moving them in with us.
6) Made a potential new friend at the Ikea training. Yay. Knew she was my kind of people when she said in response to the question "Why did you choose Ikea": "Because I like the store and socialists are cool."
7) Spent 30 minutes writing today (not counting my LJ poem), and it felt good. Gonna try to do it again tomorrow.
8) Soon, there will be tomatoes. Fresh tomatoes that I grew in dirt. All by myself. See me puff up with pride.
9) Trying to think of something sweet and inexpensive to get mom for Father's Day (long story); Ideas welcome.
Good night, sweet people. I will try to catch up some more before I go to San Diego, but I'm not sure I will be able to. I'm hoping mom is able to fix my broken computer while I'm there, but I'm not too optimistic. I may cave in and spend $160 on a used desktop PC from the Used Computer Store if it's unfixable. We'll see.
