It's a golfer, kissing her trophy, which from one side is sort of rectangular acrylic that has no particular shape. From other angles? Wow. I'm sure the sculptor had no phallic intentions, but I'm not sure about the photographer.
The golfer is named Cristie Kerr. She actually almost ended up posing for Playboy during the aftermath of that photo, but then Natalie Gulbis became the flavor of the month on the golf tour.
The last time I remember hearing that word anywhere was in the 1988 film "Punch Line" where a 10 yr old girl started a dirty joke with that word at the dinner table to the great dismay of the parents and their preacher dinner guest.
Used as an insult...I'm drawing a total blank on that one.
a) baseball. yuck. [waits patiently for a large quantity of her friends to disown her] b) everyone else likes it, and i *hate* that. (no, i haven't read harry potter, either. yes, i'll probably be sorry later.
For what it's worth, I'm sorry I read Harry Potter, and I gave up halfway through the third book. Also, someotherguy was so bored with Bull Durham that he didn't get to the sexiest parts, so since someone didn't like it, you're allowed to watch it. (Teasing.)
I avoided it for years'n'years b/c although I like sports, I hate sports movies, and as you say, everybody else liked it. But then it turned out to be one of G.'s favorite movies of all time and I *had* to watch it, and you know? I really liked it. I dunno how it'll work if you really dislike baseball, but it might be worth a try for Susan Sarandon's sake.
In a way, it reminds me of me not watching the series "Sports Night" when it was on TV, as I'm just not that into sports. But that's really not what it's about. (I learned to love it on DVD.)
