You know that place under the burners on the stove? I not only know how to lift the stovetop so I can get to it to clean it, but I'm all happy now because it's clean. I'm really weird.

Oh, and the tomatoes are starting to turn red!!!

I'm taking a small break from doing that right now :). I have the new HP, and the new Elizabeth George, *and* I got the rest of the Miss Marples yesterday, but I can't get involved in reading until the whole house is clean. I'm not kidding.

I have washed, dusted, scrubbed, taken apart, put back together, mopped, scrubbed some more... and it's *hot* here.

Oh, and the tomatoes are starting to turn red!!!

Yay for red tomatoes!

(You probably know this already, foodie that you are, but - if you should get stuck with loads of woefully unripe tomatoes at the end of the season, Green Tomato Chutney is one of life's yummiest little pleasures! I'm such a freak that I grow tomatoes solely to ensure an autumn supply of greenies for chutney...)
