more reasons to love life
Jul. 31st, 2005 02:51 amPeople like Vito exist.
Two days off in a row -- Tuesday and Wednesday -- from this place.
Evenings at home reading and geeking and giggling with
someotherguy and
sogwife, who is really trying to roll her eyes at us as little as possible, but we're not making it easy.
Artichokes! Pressure-cookers, so we can have Artichokes! in twenty minutes.
Alt.polyites whose generosity is astounding. (Apoff voting/contributing is going better than I expected, bottom-line-wise.)
Rubio the plant, who was about an inch high when I bought him, now takes up the entire window -- he's about two feet high and twice that across -- he's branched out.
I feel so much better physically since I went back to taking my iron all the time (which I thinkoed as "on time", so maybe I still need to watch it).
I was late for work for the first time today, but I knew about it (and called it in) in advance, and the boss was really cool about it. I guess that's what happens when you're not generally a flake. And when did I become the kind of person who's not generally a flake? Weird.
There's a book that I've checked out of the library a couple of times. I like it, and we found it remaindered today. $9 instead of $25, yay.
Tomorrow, I'm gonna see how my energy is. If it's high, may go swim with
dryadgrl and her munchkin. If not, I'll do that another day. Either way, gonna take it easy for a while, just on general principles. Thanks to everyone who's been cool about that lately. It's been a long summer.
*smooches* Now I'm gonna go read and get some sleep. Much love!
