sweet potatoes make a fine potato salad all by their lonesome.

peets (peet's?) makes a lovely carrot-ginger reduced-fat muffin.

despite logistical nonsense, getting excited about alt.polycon. (but a bit bummed that sogwife isn't going to be able to attend -- she's officiating at a friend's wedding.)

working tomorrow and wednesday at uc berkeley. yay. more money for our hotel room. double yay.
