(No more toffee for me. I have spoken.)

Here's the task:

1. If you have a Netflix queue or something similar, list the top five on
your queue.
2. Say something about each movie -- why you selected it, what you've
heard about it, what you thought of it if you have already seen it.
3. If you don't have a Netflix queue, you can use mine -- just click
here

I can't look at the queue for my movies. I use hitflix and they rent both movies and porn (which nicely suppliments the house's existing netflix subscription) however, since my computer died at home and I can't look at adult sites at work, I have no clue what's actually in my queue

I know the new Bob Dylan documentary is on there but I don't think it's even been released yet.

8 1/2 is on there because I've never seen it and I really liked La Strada.

I've got a few scoreland dvd's on there too because that's the closest thing I've found to my niche. heh.

As you know I'm a bit of a movie slut I will probably watch most things. Some I'm willing to pay money for a theater, others I will rent. Then there are those I will watch if they turn up on television and I can't get to the remote. Often the reason I'll see a movie is because I'm just curious.

1. May - I heard this was a bit of a cult film about a Goth girl who builds a friend for herself. I was curious about how retelling of the Frankenstein story would work.

2. House of Cards - A Kathleen Turner and Tommy Lee Jones movie about a mother trying to reach her autistic child. I love both actors and it is marginally about disability and altered consciousness of interests of mine.

3. Hero - Historical HK with Jet Li. Need I say more?

4. Before Sunset - A sequel to "Before Sunrise" with Julie Delpy (Oh my!) I thought the original was a fun romantic movie so I wanted to see the sequel.

5. Punch-Drunk Love - I keep hearing its a "good" Adam Sandler movie. I can't imagine what that would be like. So I rented it

I'm currently going through the X-Files, so Season 3's DVDs are at the top of my Queue. I watch at least as many TV series as I do movies and I use Netflix to watch the ones I don't want to record as keepers and/or the ones I'm thinking of buying (to see if the quality and the extras are worth the price.)
