dressup dolls!

Many of you probably know that I am enchanted by Normal Bob's dressup dolls.
I even wrote to him to see how much it would be to have him make one for
me. It's not a ton of money, but it's more than the tattoo I want, so I
asked him for a raincheck. I really recommend emailing him if you'd like a
way-cool doll of yourself or a loved one. Or even an enemy. He does a
*great* job.

I plan to get three: One is a buttercup, probably on my hip. Another is someotherguy's logo (you can see it at his website (http://www.jhuger.com), and the third is one I may or may not get -- a vine travelling up and down my belly scar. That one will involve doing a lot of research and finding someone who is familiar with tattooing in scarred areas.

many tattoos leave me completely cold because caucasian skin decorated with tattoo ink doesn't do it for me aesthetically, and i am generally not into the permanence of tattoos -- but i think your idea for the vine is marvelous; the symbology would really rock for me.
