So last night, the spoken word thing was not well attended (my partners
and I, and the featured reader, and the cafe owner, along with the regular
customers), but I had a good time. Read some, listened some, and then got
all schmoopy.

Towards the end, I said "Gosh, I sure wish [[livejournal.com profile] sogwife] would get
up and read, but I don't think--"

"I think I will," says she.

And gets up and reads this poem she's just written.

About me.

You may now say "Awwwwwww."

So romantic. So sweet. And she said such amazing things about me.

You're right, love. I'm your girl.

I know the feeling -- a certain rather good poet-sweetie-like-friend-thingie once did the same to me, only privately rather than in public like that.

That's so sweet....

It's not the size of the event ... it's the schmoop of the group!
