Come to North Oakland, 'kay?
Sep. 28th, 2005 10:35 pmNomad No-mic is every Thursday night. This time, we have the fabulous Charlie Anders. And usually we have me reading stuff to fill space, but what we'd rather have is all of you coming and listening and reading -- either your stuff or someone else's -- and eating yummy food and drinking yummy coffee.
(Speaking of food and coffee, Nomad's got great organic, fair-trade coffee that
someotherguy and I love, and sammiches to die for. And if you want baba ganouj, I'll share mine with you, but then I'll have to go buy myself some more, because it's just that good.)
Reading is at 7 (I think we'll dispense with signups for the time being until we have enough readers to justify it), and the feature starts at 7:30. You will not be sorry if you come, and once again, I'm offering to buy a yummy coffee drink for the first ten people who mention it to me.
Please come and support spoken word in Oakland. I will really adore you if you do.
