Orphans' Thanksgiving at Serene's

sereneFinding a place that was available, accessible, and cheap in Oakland
proved to be more than I could manage on a month's notice, so our annual
Orphans' Thanksgiving (for them what haven't other plans for the day) will
be at my house this year and somewhere else next year. Y'all are invited.
Details:
Who: You and your sweetie(s) and kid(s)
When: Thanksgiving Day (US), November 24th. Snacks and schmoozing at 2, dinner at 3, games and schmoozing after dinner. Feel free to come early, but you may be put to work chopping something. Feel free to stay as long as you want after dinner, especially if you're one of those freaks who likes to wash dishes. Crash space is available if we know you. Breakfast on Friday will be turkey hash and other leftovery-type things.

Food notes: I will be making lots of food, and it will all be my family's traditional T-day stuff: Turkey, ham, stuffing (both vegetarian and non), mashed potatoes, corn, salad, cranberry sauce, squash, sweet potatoes, pie, etc. If something else cries out "Thanksgiving!" to you, please feel free to either bring it or let us know what it is and we'll try to provide it. Also, if you have food allergies or issues, please do tell me about them, as it's fun for me to find ways to work with food challenges.
