but there were a couple of funny moments tonight:

Me: You know our rule about how if it's gonna be funny later, it's funny now?
Him: Yeah.
Me: This is gonna be boring later, too, isn't it?
Him: Yeah.


Me: If we had our little car, we could just make a road trip and go get the keys from sogwife.
Him: Um, but we still wouldn't have car keys.
Me, as it dawns on me: Shut up!
Both laugh until tears stream
Me: I was trying to find my happy place, you bastard.

Or you could keep a key here and I could have run it over or at worst you would make a bus trip over. That sure would have been cheaper and it sounds like it might even have been quicker than your "adventure" today.
