I have so much to do, and I don't want to do it, so instead, I will post a silly quiz and play Farmville.



FOODOLOGY

What is your salad dressing of choice?
I like most salad dressings; they're really the point of salad for me. (To Miche, who doesn't like them: I am not suggesting any, but wondering: do you eat your salad dry? or do you put stuff on them to make them interesting -- like fruit/nuts, etc.? or...?)

What is your favorite sit-down restaurant?
The best one I've been to so far was probably Panda Inn (NOT Panda Express) in San Diego, but lately, I've enjoyed Sushi Ko in Berkeley.

What food could you eat every day for two weeks and not get sick of?
Almost anything that I like, I could eat every day. I'm not easily bored.

What are your pizza toppings of choice?
Miche said "Either venison and cranberries or smoked salmon and cream cheese and capers (don't knock it till you've tried it).", both of which sound good to me, but my choices are usually onions and (if I'm eating meat) sausage/salami.

What do you like to put on your toast?
Butter/margarine and/or honey and/or peanut butter OR jam/jelly (that is, peanut butter and jelly do NOT go together, but peanut butter and honey are fine together. Don't ask me why.


TECHNOLOGY
How many televisions are in your house?
One, not counting our computers, which are actually where we watch most of the TV we watch.

What color is your cell phone?
Honestly, I don't know. Um, silver?

Do you have an iPod?
Stealing Miche's answer: No. I do have an mp3 player, but it's not an iPod.


BIOLOGY
Are you right-handed or left-handed?
Right. One of my siblings is a lefty, but the rest of us are right-handed.

Hmm. Tonsils, teeth, a thyroid, other surgical byproducts.

What is the last heavy item you lifted?
A box full of expired student files at work. Well, eight boxes full, but not all at once.

Have you ever been knocked unconscious?
Only in the anaesthesia sense.

If it were possible, would you want to know the day you were going to die?
I can go around and around with myself about that, but since it's not possible, it's just mental masturbation, and I usually tire of the mental exercise.

Nope. I'm not really a pet person, but the only pets I have had were a turtle and a couple of cats.

I like most of them. I have great affection for the sappy xmas ballads of my youth. "Merry Christmas, Darling" and the like.

Yeah, but I don't enjoy it.

Hmm. I don't know! I stayed home from work. Oh, I bought us lunch, put money in the dryers, and bought a stocking-stuffer for sogwife that I'm really happy about.

I don't think so.

Met someone who changed your life?
Many people. My mother. My partners. My fifth-grade teacher. My high-school chemistry teacher (who may see this on Facebook -- Larry, you are the best teacher I ever had, bar none). Stef. The list goes on and on, and I almost didn't start making it because I know I would end up in the hundreds.

How will you bring in the New Year?
We usually don't celebrate holidays at all. I think we were asleep before midnight last year. The next day is a family birthday, though, and we do celebrate that.

No. I've read too many stories about malevolent genies.

Have you ever dated someone longer than a year?
Oh, sure! Going on seven years with my current partners. Around six years with sogwife. Four years with cute-poet-chick.
