serene1) Best line on my reading lists today: "Everyone had better keep their mouths shut, or else I might break out a few home truths."
2) This weekend is about digging out from the mess and chaos in my home. (Also about Doctor Who -- no spoilers, please -- because it's on BBCAmerica tonight, so we're gonna descend onstonebender.)
Next week, I work Monday and Tuesday, and then I have three weeks that are about cooking, baking, deep-cleaning my place, baking, cooking, getting the magazine out, cooking, and baking.
If we know you, we'd be happy to have you over for dinner any time between now and January 10th. The closer to now-ish you come, the closer to a junkyard my house will be, but feel free to come in your HazMat suit, or wait until next week when our place will at least be habitable.
Dinner is at 7. Letting me know you're coming is cool; dropping by is also fine.
3) I feel so silly loving Farmville, but I do. It's my own electronic Zen garden, and I adore it.
4) I have been avoiding getting my tests for my thyroid checkup. I don't know what that's all about, but may just be sick/tired/busy avoidance. At any rate, kick my butt if I don't go Monday after work.

Anyway. I've been meaning to ask you whether I sent you $$ for a subscription to the magazine or not. I thought I did, but haven't received the second issue with Piranha's gorgeous photo on the cover .... and I'm also notoriously losing bits and pieces of responsibility right and left, these days.
