1) I am not a huge Antonio Banderas fan, but this movie looks like it's right up my (and stonebender's) alley.

2) I had forgotten how repulsive Jack Nicholson can really be. Of course, he was *supposed* to be repulsive in The Witches of Eastwick, so this is not a complaint, just an observation.

3) Long weekend! (working at home, but not at my day job until Tuesday)

4) Twisted my foot, just as I was reveling in its having healed from the stress fracture. Now I'm limping around again, and it's pissing me off.

5) Lately, I really really love alt.poly.

6) Post on its way about my contradictory social needs.

7) I don't ever want to die, but lately, I have frequently had the thought, "If I died now, I would die happy." That's a good place to be.

8) No news yet from the family. I will call them as soon as someotherguy is off the phone. Thanks to you all for your concern and sweet offers of help.

Looks like a fun movie, even though I'm not a great Banderas fan. Banderas has been growing in recent years, though. His performance in Once upon a Time in Mexico is superb.

yep, that's just what I thought. I'm a sucker for dance movies, esp. cross over styles like Save the Last Dance (hip/hip and ballet). And I like Antonio Banderas!
