Okay, it's SO not health food, but I'm in heaven anyway.

So here's how my thought train went: I loved cream cheese and jelly as a kid. We had it in sandwiches on white bread, and sometimes I would just have it by itself. The other night, I bought sour cream to put in a mushroom gravy, and forgot to use it, so I have a carton of sour cream in the fridge. Now, I can eat sour cream with a spoon -- love it! -- but then cream-cheese-and-jelly came to mind, and there was no fruit yogurt in the fridge, so, um, I added apricot jam to a bowl of sour cream. My arteries are probably begging for mercy, but ohgod, is this good. Mmmmmmmm.

If you wrapped a crepe around it & fried the whole thing, that would be a blintz! Mmm, blintzes.

I've always seen blintzes with a sweet-cheese filling out here, but yeah, where I come from (the east coast, and specifically my aunt's house in Philly), it was more of a sour-cream-y thing.
