serene1) Just saw my reflection in a co-worker's window -- god, I love my hips.
2) The munchkin was here and now is gone. Today will be a really
stressful day at zir house, so I'm hoping it goes as well as it can.
3) We get to have fun feeding ourselves and doing laundry on seventeen
dollars until I get paid (typo pain) on Thursday. Good thing we're good at
being frugal, and we like beans a lot. :-)
4) My COBRA paperwork came. It's gonna cost me a lot of money, but I'm
gonna have health insurance, and that makes me feel so much more secure.
5) There is no 5
6) I feel happy and peaceful. This is a good thing, especially with the
week the children in my life are having (my own munchkins and the munchkin
of a friend are having stressy parent weeks, and I ache for them).

Date: 2006-01-31 10:01 pm (UTC)I'm trying to do as little food buying for the rest of the week as possible. I already bought all my work food (breakfasts, lunches and snacks) earlier in the week. At home, I have leftover mixed vegetables in a korma sauce enough for tonight, although I'm out of wraps. I do have bread and english muffins, or I could have it on its own with papadums on the side. After tonight it gets interesting. I have lots of frozen vegetables that I could make stir fries and such with, and I've got the aforementioned bread and english muffins (along with cheese slices, peanut butter, jam, and a few other things-you-can-put-on-bread). The weekend may require shopping, though.
