(What's this? "Autosaved draft at 12:01:02 PM" -- I didn't ask LJ to autosave, and I've never seen that before. Grr. I hate it when features change against my will.)

Autosave is a new feature, added because many people complained about losing draft posts when posting from the Web (rather than a downloaded client).

You can get rid of the autosaved draft by clearing the window and then saving; if you don't, it will go away automatically when you post the entry.
