Loved the movie, even with all the huge plot holes.

Mal was perfect, and Joss fixed my problems with him in the series.

Date: 2006-02-22 06:17 pm (UTC)One thing that's annoyed me in the series is the number of lines that are clearly designed for Xander which are given to Jayne or Mal, and the scenes of Angel-style Hard Choices and Brooding which have been foisted on Mal - once I noticed the first one, they kept coming.
Not that it ended up being a bad series - just not quite different enough to what went before. And fetishisation of guns and fisticuffs, much?
