1. What things do you do even though you know you'll regret it later (e.g. drink a caffeinated beverage, stay up late)?
I wouldn't say exactly "regret"; more like "face consequences". Consume milk. Say yes when I'm overbooked (I do this less lately, but I still do it). Stay up late (again, I'm better at this now than in the past).
2. Why do you do them?
Because I'm a grown-up and sometimes I decide the backlash is worth the doing of the thing.
3. What things do you *not* do even though you know you'll regret it later (e.g. exercise, clean your house)?
Hmm. Not much of this. I think I've pretty much cured myself of the "I should be doing something else" syndrome. I do a lot. I don't have to do it all.
4. Why don't you do them?
See above.
5. What strategies have you developed to help yourself do the things you should, or not do the things you shouldn't?
I remind myself I always have a choice about what to do, and then I just cope.
