Tonight (6:30-8:30) is my poetry thing at the Temescal cafe (I'm not running this one -- I'm the featured reader). I have a few new poems, and a mess of the same things you've heard a hundred times if you've heard me read. Should be fun. Come by if you're nearby.

I had you on my calendar, but tonight is a bad-energy night. (I wish things were different) I need to be close to my close friends, and some of them are coming up from the Bay Area, and I want to fall into the comfort that they provide.

*shakes her head* I can't wait until all this bullshit is over. No doubt the pissed-off poetry will flow. Enough for next V-Day's poetry night!

Sorry. With all the dates and things I've had to remember, I thought it was later than it is. Plus the fact that my calendar is not nearly as accessible as it once once may be a potential culprit. *shrugs* I don't know why your email isn't getting through. I know, if sogwife is up in the area for Rfiday game night, I'll get it from her!
