Today's breakfast was green onion quiche with colby cheese. It came out well. The pics aren't fabulous, but I was thinking of the garnish thread on rec.food.cooking right now, so I took pics. (It's sogwife's birthday, so I'm cooking foods she likes today. Lots of meat, lots of cheese, tiramisu (store-bought) for dessert, etc.)

Lunch will be tuna casserole. Dinner will be pork country-style ribs slow-baked (my slow-cooker died) with sauerkraut and onions and applesauce (out of apples, and they cook to mush anyway). I'll take pics if I think of it, and if they don't come out looking awful. :-)

Ooh, looks yummy!! Especially because I'm *finally* chowing down on breakfast - yummy, chewy Irish oatmeal with brown sugar and milk, but it's not green onion quiche!

Mmmmm, oatmeal! someotherguy hates hot cereal, but sogwife and I love it, so I mostly make it when she's here. Mmmmmm.

Oatmeal I agree YUM I need to get some more I am out.
F.Y.I. I have a slow cooker you are welcomed to if you would like I never use it. It is kind of a rounded rectangle shape, non stick inside and the heating unit can be used as a small griddle. Let me know I will bring it up with me next time I am up.

Wow, that's exactly the kind I was using, but the nonstick got all chipped, so I got rid of it. If you're sure you don't want it, I'd love that! Thanks!

I used to work for a merchandiser and got good discounts. So of course I bought all kinds of electric gadgets from them. Rice cooker, toaster, crock pot, slow cooker etc. I use most of the other things I bought but I only used the slow cooker a few times then it got put up on the shelf and has been there for like 5 years. I would rather it get used than just collect dust. I will bring it up soon.
