I wander into the UC Berkeley Gender & Equity center periodically to look at their lit tables -- their office is right next to mine. That's how I found out that Girlfest is this weekend (anyone want to go to a movie at Cal on Sunday?) and that's where I found the cute pink sign I'm taping to my desk right now that reads

rfc does drive me crazy in that regard. I don't know how to get through to those people that they're just making themselves miserable for no reason. I mean, they care enough about food to be on a cooking newsgroup. yet they spend all their time eating stuff they don't like and avoiding stuff they do. How insane is that?
