The other night, I made tofu fajitas.

This morning, I had an unconventional breakfast. Shrimp marinated in Thai chili sauce, served over mangos. So light and delicious!

I wish I'd taken photos of someotherguy's pork tacos last night. Very yummy.

I've always thought that shrimp looked creepy, but otherwise those look very nice. :)

On Monday I had a bit of an upset stomach, so I asked clawfoot to get me some basic, inoffensive veggies to eat for dinner that evening: I suggested celery, turnip and cucumber. However, I was feeling fine by coming-home-from-work time, so I then had to think, "Okay, what do I do with those?" I ended up picking up alfalfa sprouts, green beans, "spicy spinach" (a baby spinach and spicy arugula mix), some three-cheese ranch dressing, green onions, radishes and spinach wraps. I've been having veggie wraps all week with all of those except the turnip, which I saved for chopping for sticks sometime this weekend. It's been exceedingly tasty. I usually get utterly bored of most foods by the end of a week, but I think I might pick up more wraps and cheese so I can keep having them until the veggies run out. Either that or I'll take what's left and make a big salad.

Sounds delicious! We all really enjoyed the roasted veggies last night, and especially the turnips, which were less bitter (not that bitter's necessarily a bad thing) than usual.

I don't know why, but seeing "tofu fajitas" makes me think there must be some wonderful joke about a southern lady making a pot pie with tofu being a terrible embarrassment, because, it is, after all, a "'fu pie" (which would come out very close to "faux pas" in the right southern accent).

This might be one of those observations that's best kept to one's self, if one did not want to be thought weird.
