1) Do you like your birth-name? Why?
I didn't when i was younger. (It's Sandra.) I changed my nickname from Sandy to Sandi -- cliche affectation of the prepubescent girl. By the time people started calling me Serene, I had come to peace with my name, though, and now I like it fine.
2) If you could change your name to anything else, what would it be?
When I was a kid, I wanted it to be Shannon, both because I liked the name, and because it would be a fun phone number to have. I are a geek.
3) What names would you consider giving your children?
All growing up, I believed I would eventually have a daughter, and her name was going to be Faith Elizabeth. Nowadays, I'm virtually certain I won't have children, but I'm pretty sure if I did, they wouldn't be named "Faith". :-)
4) If you had a band, what would you name it, and why?
The weird thing is I was in a band in high school, and damned if I can remember what it was called. Weird.
5) Is there a name that you completely hate? Why?
Nope. I don't really know why I would hate a name, though I think some names are prettier/nicer than others.
