Today was better. I mean, no positive movement on the health front, my broken foot is reinjured, my nephew is having to find another place to live because he slacked on looking for work, and![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
dbubley is still dealing with shit (and so, by extension, is her household), but there is a lot to recommend it over yesterday. The kid cheerfully woke early and went to her college assessment and did really well on it, then met me for sushi lunch. She starts college in a couple weeks! Work went fine. We got a new scanner and a backpack for the kid and a few other office essentials for 'free' (used Staples Rewards). The boyfiend made dinner. I'm spending the evening with my foot propped up while people bring me stuff.
Could be worse.
