I appear to have entered hermit mode. I think jobhunting has used up all my social energy, and that's okay. It won't last forever. But meanwhile, I'm still in my pajamas, and I haven't really had any desire to leave the house or see people in days. I was happy to save enough energy to go see [livejournal.com profile] stonebender on Thursday before the hermitage *really* took over. Will probably take a walk with [livejournal.com profile] someotherguy at some point, because I feel ooky if I don't, but other than that, I'll work on my contract gig and hole up in my Hobbit Hole making it a comfier cocoon. Feel free to drop by if you want, but don't expect me anyplace other than my house any time soon.

Signed,

The Happy Hermit

Pajamas?

You take the trouble to change into pajamas at night?

I used to ... for most of my life, in fact. Since going on disability and sleeping in so much, I find it works better to sleep in my clothes. That way, if someone comes to the door, I won't frighten them. *grin*

Sorry you're so burned out. Sounds like you're still accomplishing a lot, though. Cooking good meals, setting up a whole new journal, smoochin' all your honeys, and being just a great person in general.

Hang in there. This, too, shall pass.

I sleep in the nude, but I have some comfy pajamas (that I actually also wear as street clothes) that I wear when I want to be warm enough in the morning, but don't want to get dressed yet. :-)

I'm not unhappy at all. I just go through times when I don't want to be social. I think I'm a natural hermit, and I'm definitely a natural introvert.

I'm feeling that way too. Just got back from the grocery store and now I need a nap. Of course, this stupid cold I have doesn't help.

I hereby decree that your household shall be allowed at least ONE week when no one's sick and nothing breaks down. Is that so much to ask??

(illness X broken things) to the poly power = bigger number "nibbled to death by ducks" troubles. But then there's more folks to help figure stuff out too. It all washes out, I suspect.

Thanks for the decree!
