This week, I have been more social than usual, and it has not depleted me. I don't know what to attribute this to, except perhaps to the extreme mellowness and companionable natures of the people I've spent social time with. Thank you all. I might be ready to do that again in a month or two. ;-)

Excellent. I was thinking yesterday about amounts of socializing—as part of a conversation with the people I went out to dim sum with—and continued that in conversation with Adrian this morning, and I've also been more social than usual over the last while. I'm not feeling depleted by the socializing as such, but again, that's partly a matter of good planning, not all of it my own. Mellowness, and not much socializing with new people (even really cool new people take a different sort of energy than old friends, for me).

"As such" because I'd have benefited from less running around in the cold, and less time spent waiting for people, and maybe even getting to bed earlier in a couple of cases.
