Jun. 10th, 2006 12:12 pmIn 8 minutes, the first batch of peanut butter cookies (the flourless ones from
eeyore_grrl, of course) will come out of the oven. Already made hummus. Will stuff mushrooms later. (Some local poly people are starting a twice-monthly D&D game, and
someotherguy and
sogwife are playing. We're hosting, which basically means I'll be Official Snack Wench. My mom will be here in a few hours, and she can be Second Chair Snack Wench, and then we're off to
stonebender's place to visit and spend the night.)
Now to try to make my house at least visitable. This pile of junk next to my desk will be first to go. Now I remember why people who work full-time have so much trouble getting things done.
Have a lovely weekend, all.

That's it. Really. Mix it all together, make balls out of it, press them down with a fork in that special cross-hatch-peanut-butter-cookie way, and bake them in a preheated (375F) oven for 8 minutes. They'll still be pale when you take them out, but do it anyway. They end up paler than normal cookies, but if you leave them longer, they'll burn badly.
