Spent the first half of the day sick and wo' out. Because of this bug, I've missed a day of work (also known as $88 after taxes), a date with stonebender (priceless), and a good friend's wedding. So I feel a little twinge of guilt when I say how much I really really needed the rest this brought about. I don't like being sick, but I do like resting, and I am feeling like I may have actually gotten enough sleep and downtime, which hasn't been true in a long time.

Oh dear, sweetie. If you're to the point where you feel relieved to get sick because you have an excuse to rest...REST. REST REST REST. The world will still be here when you're caught up.

Yeah, she was very sweet about it. And I know that her wedding isn't about me, so I feel sorry that I missed it, but it looks like it was just lovely, even without my shining face. :-)
