Woke up yesterday morning with some stiffness and pain in my knee -- not my normal bursitis stuff, something new.
Rather than getting better, it's gotten worse, to the point where I couldn't really sleep last night, and today I can't walk very well without terrible pain.
Took aspirin, have an ice pack on the knee, and am completely baffled.

Date: 2006-07-23 10:12 pm (UTC)If you sleep on your back rather than your side, it might help to put the pillows under your knees, so that they're arched up while you sleep. I can sometimes rest that way (although my respiratory system won't allow me to sleep that way.)
I find that the Tylenol PM both relieves the pain and allows me to relax enough to get to sleep until the pain abates. When I wake up it's usually gone if I was able to get into a restful position.
Hope you can find something helpful in all that.
