I just bought one of those myself. I've had it about 2 weeks.

Best. Bread. Machine. Ever.

Happy Birthday!

I am unspeakably jealolus, that Zojirushi is on the top of my Amazon.com wishlist, as soon as I have the $$ i will buy it because it's supposed to be the best with gluten-free bread and I just found out I have celiac disease. Enjoy it!

I'm sure I will, but the recipes in the book are a little boring. Ideas?

I made interesting-ish bread when I first started using the machine, but over time, I've defaulted to one basic sandwich bread recipe. It's derived from a recipe that [livejournal.com profile] cappyhead gave me for Challah in the bread machine.

9 oz. liquid (one egg [optional], half milk, half water, or all water)
380 oz. bread flour (I tend to use more like 400 oz.)
25 g. (2 T) butter (or olive oil!! I've started using oil and I don't think I'm going back to butter)
25 g. (2 T) sugar
5 g. (1 t) salt
5 g. (1 t) yeast

So easy, and so! delicious. Sandwiches, French toast....

Happy Birthday darling. I wish I had known about it. No doubt SOG/WIFE don't have my acct name... *shrugs*

My lifetime wish for you: happiness, which you already seem to have an abundance of around me. I want you to have more, so you can keep sharing it like you always do.

*hugs* Beautiful one.
