Lunch with stonebender, who braved the cold (lizard-boy does not like the cold) to come see me me me.

Walking home with someotherguy.

Being grabbed on my way past the cafe where I used to run the spoken-word night and begged to come read "...because the only two people signed up are crazy, Serene, you have to save us! I'll buy you both a beer!" (I read. They were indeed crazy. I have a crush on the new barrista.)

sogwife's most excellent birthday present, a.k.a. Birth of a Yarn-Crack Whore -- She got me Stitch 'N Bitch, some knitting needles, and a generous gift certificate to our local yarn-crack outlet, whose name irritates the snot out of wild_irises. ;-)

Life is good. Odd sometimes, but good.

I've got the Stitch 'N Bitch crochet book, it's just as marvellous as the knitting one. Completely addictive. I'm knitting at the moment, though, I've just started a jumper in this marvellous boucle yarn with a very gradual colour-change from purple to pink. Yay!

When I was just checking train schedules online I saw that Amtrak sometimes has "Stitch 'n Ride (http://www.capitolcorridor.org/promotions/stitch_n_ride.php)" runs. Anyway, I hope your hand heals up fast so you can make good use of your presents ASAP!
