Wikipedia is not Omnipotent. Entries tend to be written by those who are interested in the topic. (You will find my ascii all over the Canadian/Ontario subsection on co-op housing and sections about Toronto neighbourhoods) Flip over to te back coversation tab, look at the edit history, and You Shall Know All. Better yet, add yourself to the editor's list and change it already!

I think you nailed it with the "pretend" definition. I've known a lot of "good Christians" in my time, and ... well, organized religion is there to promote exclusivity, superiority, and oppression. There. I said it.

The Quaker congregations I've been involved with have actually been loving and accepting. Same with Unitarian Universalists.
