One time, I asked my ex, who lives in the Midwest, if zie listened to "A Prairie Home Companion". "Listen to it? Nah, I *live* it" was the response.

I not only listen, but I read, and I love the man more and more every day. (The comments are a hoot, if by "hoot" you mean "alarming indictment of the purported intelligence of the average Public Radio listener.")

I really don't think the preponderance of negative comments on GKs web pages means anything. I can see where he would be a favorite target of the Right, and I think Fundies go out of their way to post their lame rebuttals.
