Tonight, I got email from one of my clients asking why my invoice was so low. It's low because I do fast work (and because I have software that helps me do what she needs to do, and does so quickly). She's gonna double my pay as "a holiday bonus and thanks". Yay, me.

My newest client has stated explicitly that their hourly rate is high because they expect their writers and editors to do good work quickly. This suits me. (And I think I have my first project with them.)
