Am I the only one whose automatic default HTML tag has gone from being "a href" to "lj user"? (That is, the tag my fingers start typing before my brain can tell them I'm actually wanting another tag.)
Not me. HTML is supposed to have semantic markers, not physical markers. I don't care how you display these things -- only that you emphasize them or strongly emphasize them.
Since I post on so many different blogs and web boards, I dont' have a "default" setting, although I do tend to use "i" or "b" most of the time. But some boards fool you: instead of the " < " tags, they use " [ " brackets.
And of course, I'm still stuck on using "*" and "/" for bold and italic in Word.
