The wind is blowing the rain so it's nearly horizontal. It's also fucking with the fountain, so teenagers are squealing, too, as they play in the mercurial water that shoots everywhere, no longer confined to its fountainny confines. Fun.

I'm in Emeryville and it hasn't started raining here. I am not looking forward to this storm. Can't wait to get all my plants off the rails on my porch, though, so they don't blow over.

I have barely touched my garden since I got back from Tokyo. I feel a fair bit of shame over that. Really want to remedy it this week.
