Rejection letter today. Why yay, you ask? Because rejection letters mean I'm sending my stuff out, and in my experience, rejection letters and acceptance letters share the quality that they don't come to me if I don't send my stuff out.

I agree. That is a yay. I would like to start doing more of that this year, but as it is, I'm neck-deep in self-improvement/life-improvement projects and school. Maybe later in the year, I'll start sending some writing out. (:

I think the only downside to the ease of submitting electronically is that the rejection e-mails aren't as goos a fodder for collage.

I printed today's on yellow paper, if that helps. One of these days, I should take a photo of that wall. From where I'm sitting, I can see five rejection letters, three acceptances, and two flyers for readings I featured at. It's my working-writer wall.
