Oh, gotcha. Yeah, I like the groups I hang out in. I think they're mostly the ones I've been in for the last 9 years, and while most of them are lower-traffic, they still rock. I think Usenet was more fun when it was busier, but lots of people got LiveJournals. :-)

I am sitting on the floor of my steamy little bathroom, typing by the light of the laptop screen and five candles, because I don't want to waste the candles and some of them probably won't stay lit if I move them. I've been enjoying a hot bath with green-tea salts and red wine and an important sad well-written love story - The Wild Swans by Peg Kerr, and if you (plural) haven't read it you should.

I can't imagine my life without the people with whom I'm connected mostly by internet.

Me? Busy, busy, busy, and very, very lucky to have linuxspice in my life. LJBF'ed by a boyfriend, gained a girlfriend, and snowed under with drama from Palenville as well as work. Won't be at polycon (family wedding that weekend), but will be at the WomBAT thingy in May.

Since I've become a lactose-intolerant diabetic I appreciate chocolate more than I used to. However, I'd take your toffee (even with regular milk) over chocolate any day (which I can probably truthfully say now that I'm postmenopausal). Probably fruit flavor and toffee-like, sweet buttery flavor are ahead of chocolate on my sweets list; just maybe not in the textures section.
