I went to YouTube to see the actual clip where Rosie made this ridiculous joke. It's pretty appalling to me that Rosie even said this. I thought she was a lot better than that.
Then I checked out the responses (on YouTube) from people who are pissed off at her about it, and those aren't any better. It's all about how fat she is and how much she eats, or what a butch dyke she is, blah blah ad nauseum. Makes me despair for the human race.
So I'm very happy your kid posted what may be the only intelligent, open-hearted response in a morass of idiocy!
