sereneWhat a hell of a week. Mom's cancer scare (she's fine); stressy work week (not bad, just rushed/stressy); issues with my meds; tax audit; ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
sogwife's move; furlough coming up; etc., etc., but you know? I can't help being happy. Some of the reasons:
Banana pancakes and baked eggs with asparagus and onions for breakfast.
A decision about whether or not to accept free money to go hang out with dykes in bathing suits.
The grandboss comes by especially to tell me how valuable I am, and how much she doesn't take me for granted.
A Sunday in which to finish up the housecleaning that we've spent a week and a half on. We're almost done, and every time I awaken to a clean kitchen, it adds so much joy to my life.
A family full of wonderful people who love me.
So stuff is hard, but I can't feel too bad about it, because, as always, the joy makes itself known.
I wish for you the same, always.
