Which albums are the versions of "The River Driver"/"Mari-Mac" that you sent me from? A friend likes one of them (she didn't say which) and wants to buy the record.

If the River Driver sounds live, it's from "Courage and Patience and Grit," otherwise not an especially good CD, performed by tired people with tired voices, so-so sound, and some odd editing decisions. If it's not live, it's from the Hard and the East, which is all-around excellent.

Mari Mac is on several Great Big Sea CDs, and on one Carbon Leaf CD. The best live Mari Mac is on Road Rage.

I'm pretty sure you're talking about the GBS albums he gave you... Their website says River Driver is on The Hard and the Easy (unless they did two versions, I can't swear on it and I'm not really THAT ambitious on research just now) and Mari-Mac was on Rant and Roar. I know we have both of those albums, so that all fits.
