April 1: got health insurance

April's doctor appointments:

GP
Thyroid doc
Thyroid ultrasound

May:

Thyroid doc (biopsy)
GYN
GP (same day as GYN)
Treadmill test
Foot doc

June:

Ophthalmologist
Ultrasound-guided biopsy (same day as Ophthalmologist)
Mirena insertion (two days later -- that's gonna be a hell of a week)

Still left to schedule:

Mammogram
Hip/back x-ray
Hand surgery? (to repair the nerve damage from my fall)
Neurologist? (vertigo)

I refuse to think too much about how much it's costing me right now.

Wow, sounds like my last year. *hugs* if you'd like them ... it's never fun to do all that.

My insurance won't do Mirena. I am still fighting it.

Mine will do the fitting and insertion, but not the device itself. Not sure how that will work out. As of now, though, doing it without any insurance is $400, and while that's a lot, it's doable with a little planning.

I have a similar situation.

If you're up for the time on the phone, you could fight that on these grounds.
